They are also not suppose to be super sugary either, but rich and yeasty with pie filling. They shouldn't taste like donuts, but sweet bread. I like to warm them up a bit in the toaster oven. Thanks for the post!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060755630800309245.post-65185508325053061102008-02-15T11:40:00.000-05:002008-02-15T11:40:00.000-05:00I am often surprised by how tasty prunes are actua...I am often surprised by how tasty prunes are actually. I think it's the name--prune. It just kind of makes you think of a sour old lady who lived down the block from you growing up.Cakespyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11540351035366591645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060755630800309245.post-40483124999039921422008-02-10T15:37:00.000-05:002008-02-10T15:37:00.000-05:00I've never heard of paczek. Now I have to go, because I'm going to make some doughnuts.
Oh! Same with the Czech equivalent at the Bohemian Beer Garden.

And I'm half Czech so I really do want to like their Donuts. But bland dinner rolls all the way.bstetkahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10933640638305625701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060755630800309245.post-85132374541499811432008-02-08T18:15:00.000-05:002008-02-08T18:15:00.000-05:00Nice taste test of Paczki. Michigan near a fairly large Polish community, I grew up on the tradition prune filling.

I made my paczki this year with raspberry filling.breadchickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04376772267923924607noreply@blogger.com
