There definitely are items I would only use in certain situations over others, then there is the hot weather/cold weather stuff.

Mica ~ I still maintain that at the core, running is a simple sport compared to others. But there is a lot of stuff available to make running more pleasant and that's when it all adds up!

I'm not sure I ever considered running in sunglasses hardcore so much as rude (I have no clue from where that idea came)

Shannon ~ I've heard good things about Smart Wool.
Ha, I'd probably need more than two pairs of shorts.Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17361819186011561670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060755630800309245.post-62897542367565013102010-07-07T09:30:22.469-04:002010-07-07T09:30:22.469-04:00I'm a Smart Wool socks girl, and go sans unmen...I'm a Smart Wool socks girl, and go sans unmentionables. All my shorts have liners and I find it much more comfortable. Sure I have to wash them right away, but I sweat enough that I'd have to anyways! I just started using a nike sportband b/c i couldn't justify that much for a garmin, maybe someday!

ps- you won my eggland's best giveaway :) shoot me an email so I can get your info to them!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13898098819208716948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060755630800309245.post-50837887388527821842010-07-06T08:53:21.944-04:002010-07-06T08:53:21.944-04:00Isn't it funny how much gear running "req...Isn't it funny how much gear running "requires"? I leave the house loaded with stuff (Garmin, fancy shirts, arm sleeves, hat, etc.) all the time. It's quite a process getting it all together!

I've never run in sunglasses because I don't think I'm hardcore enough for that. I'll still to my silly hat for now.Micahttp://www.micapie.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060755630800309245.post-75288763009632194232010-07-05T17:47:22.527-04:002010-07-05T17:47:22.527-04:00I have all kinds of goodies, but I tend to rotate ...I have all kinds of goodies, but I tend to rotate what I actually use on a run based on my mood, the weather, and the duration of my run. I have a SPIBelt which is great, but I don't bother with it on runs over 10 miles when I take my CamelBak which has a pocket. Wristlets are good for storage too, but I really only use that when I'm wearing compression shorts without pockets. It's good to have a hodgepodge of things for different circumstances as no two runs are alike.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060755630800309245.post-79631375151545827602010-07-05T14:52:10.623-04:002010-07-05T14:52:10.623-04:00I also never race in sunglasses, but only because ...I also never race in sunglasses, but only because I consider it bad luck. And I do not wear underwear while running.

V word: sinisconAlexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17977641586245563440noreply@blogger.com
